I would like to thank my team and the board of Trustees for putting so much effort in managing the success of the launch of the "Pfebve Cancer Support Charity" over the weekend, Saturday 25 October 2025.
I want to thank the Mayor of Walsall, Cllr Louise Harrison who graced the occasion and officially opened the launch. Profound thanks go to the Hon MP for Walsall and Bloxwich, Valerie Vaz for finding time among her busy schedule to be with us at the launch. Despite very challenging times for NHS, it was well represented, Carolyn of NHS West Midlands Cancer Alliance and Zoe of UBH (Queen Elizabeth Hospital).
Thanks also to Cllr Klara Margetts who brought her family to support the event and not forgetting my friends Louis Gill, Linda and Andy Boys. I would like to thank also the community who came in full force, better attendance than expected.
I am also humbled by the high number of people who have come forward expressing willingness to volunteer for the charity, to save lives through awareness for early diagnosis and working with NHS to demystify the illness.
As a cancer patient, such high level of human compassion gives me the strength to fight on!!
